“It is going to be a turning point in my life”, Sawant enthused. “I have never met Sachin but to prepare a special art-gift for him is the biggest achievement in my life”.

“My interest in cricket is very limited”, he said. “I have sent the few images to Sachin’s house yesterday but none of them is related to the game”.

“The painting assignment for Sachin will bring glory in my life”, he continued. “My whole family is in this business with father Bhimraj and brother Rajesh also fine artists.

“My painting images sent to Sachin relate to the historic monuments and I will be travelling to Mumbai to meet Sachin in a day or two.

“Once the discussions with Sachin are over and the art work is finalized with him, I shall prepare the best gift for him” he added. “It will take about a week or so to give final touch to the painting”.

Sawant has won as many as 17 international awards in the US, Germany and Australia, but this is the pinnacle of his career so far.

“Getting the opportunity to prepare this farewell gift for Sachin and to stay in his heart will be on top of these awards”, he concluded.
