Saeed Ajmal signs to play in England for Worcestershire

Saeed Ajmal, the Pakistan off-spinner, who has recently been cleared by the International Cricket Council (ICC) over a suspect bowling action, will play for Worcestershire from July 2015.The International Cricketer’s Association (ICA) have secured Saeed Ajmal’s third spell with Worcestershire after six months of hard work to remodel his action with support from Moghees Sheikh (ICA), Saqlain Mushtaq, Paul Hurrion (Bio-Mechanic) and the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB),

Saeed Ajmal is available to play for Pakistan against Bangladesh and Sri Lanka in the upcoming tours.

“I’ve had this difficult spell of my career with my action but I knew I would come through it and have had the support not only of Pakistan but also Worcestershire throughout,” said Ajmal.

He is determined to help Worcestershire “achieve their high goals”.

Last season Worcestershire did not lose in the County Championship when Ajmal was in the side.
