#IPL: Hampshire batsman Michael Carberry to enter 2015 IPL auction

Hampshire Cricket would like to confirm batsman Michael Carberry will enter the 2015 Indian Premier League Auction, which is taking place on 16 February.

Carberry’s availability for Hampshire for the start of the 2015 county cricket season will be affected, if he is bought by one of the eight teams in the IPL competition.

The 34 year old recently enjoyed an impressive KFC Big Bash T20, finishing the campaign as the fifth highest runs-scorer in the competition with 266 runs at an average of 44.3. This played a big part in his Perth Scorchers side winning the competition for the second season in a row.
