Max Holden, George Scott and Robbie White have all signed summer contracts with Middlesex, which mean they will be available to train with and play for the club when their educational commitments allow.
“Middlesex hope to announce the completion of a number of high profile signings in the next few weeks, but the deals with George, Max and Robbie are of equal, if not greater importance,” said Middlesex’s managing director of cricket, Angus Fraser. “As a club we want to continue to find and develop young cricketers and we are excited by the young talent that is in our system. All three played for Middlesex CCC 2nd XI in 2014 and performed well, showing what potential they have.”
Holden, a 16 year-old batsman, has been involved in Middlesex’s youth system since joining from Cambridgeshire at the age of 11. He is currently involved with the Middlesex CCC Academy and the two year summer contract will take him to the end of his A Level studies. Holden currently plays club cricket for Cambridge Granta Cricket Club in the East Anglia Premier League.
Scott, an 18 year-old all -rounder, joined Middlesex CCC’s youth set up from Hertfordshire at the age of 14. He completed his time at the Middlesex CCC Academy at the end of the summer and is studying at Leeds University. His three year deal will see him through his degree. Scott currently plays for Potters Bar Cricket Club in Hertfordshire.
White, a 19 year-old wicket-keeper batsman, has played all his youth cricket with Middlesex CCC, representing the club at all levels. He was educated at Harrow School and is currently studying at Loughborough University. The three year deal will see him through his degree. White currently plays club cricket for Ealing Cricket Club in the Middlesex County Cricket League.
