Happy 150th birthday wishes to Lancashire County Cricket Club

Lancashire County Cricket Club is 150 not out on Sunday 12 January and will celebrate with a special Fans’ Forum and the launching of the Club’s new book, 150 years of Lancashire Cricket.

Cricket Director Mike Watkinson, Peter Moores the Head Coach and captain Glen Chapple will be among those answering questions about the Red Rose in the Long Room at Old Trafford Pavilion.

The book launch will take place from 12:30pm with the hour-long forum, which will be recorded for future broadcast by BBC Radio Manchester, commencing at 1pm.

The book is a year-by-year account of the glorious history of Lancashire County Cricket Club, told in both words and pictures, begins with the origins of the club in mid-Victorian Manchester in 1864 and takes the story right up to promotion back to the First Division of the LV= County Championship at the end of the 2013 season. 150 of the club’s greatest players and personalities are also profiled.

The book will have a retail price of £21, but will be on sale at £19.50 on Sunday. It can also be ordered for £19.50 plus postage from the LCCC Membership office on 0161 282 4040 or can be bought online by clicking here.

Throughout 2014, the Club will host a number of events to mark its 150th anniversary.

    I have found these photos from Lancashire county cricket club celebrating their 150 years but don’t know where I can buy one for my husband the cricket club don’t sell photos

    Please tell me if I can buy one anywhere
