World Cricket Badger seeks fresh writing talent

World Cricket Badger loves cricket and feels there is space for a website, and ultimately a magazine, that concentrates its stare primarily on domestic cricket around the world. The website is currently being built and we have big plans.

We have already got a number of seasoned cricket journalists committed to providing quality pieces for the website, but are you someone who is keen to showcase your writing talent?

What we want initially is quality over quantity as we build a strong following.

We have British Badgers and a Barbados Badger - convenient for alliteration purposes - but are on the lookout for Badgers in the following countries whose job it would be to provide copy on cricket at the domestic professional level.

  • Australia
  • Bangladesh
  • India
  • New Zealand
  • Pakistan
  • South Africa
  • Sri Lanka
  • Zimbabwe

We would require interviews, features, comment, opinion, ones to watch and the quirky. We want something a person living outside of these countries might not already know and would be interested in.

It’s a chance to use your imagination and, potentially, make a name for yourself.

As an embryonic initiative we are unable to offer a financial reimbursement to our Badgers worldwide just now, but we have big plans for World Cricket Badger and as our success grows the people that have written well for us will begin to benefit.

If you feel you fit the bill, could do a good job for us or would like to discuss this opportunity further please send an introductory email to cricketbadger@hotmail.com.

It will be great to hear from you.
