It has been a long time coming, but Glenelg District Cricket Club say hosting last week’s Sheffield Shield opener between South Australia and Queensland was definitely worth the wait.
The Queensland Bulls have cruised through to the RYOBI One Day Cup final after beating the Warriors by 35 runs in a rain-affected match at North Sydney Oval. New South Wales Blues also won and will meet Victoria Bushrangers in the elmination final.
Another big century to David Warner has catapulted the NSW Blues back into RYOBI One Day Cup finals contention, with a big seven-wicket win over the Bushrangers at North Sydney Oval today. Warner’s 138 (from 111 balls) made light work of Victoria’s 311 for 8.
The Queensland Bulls have jumped to the top of the RYOBI One Day Cup ladder with a big 90-run win over the West End Redbacks at North Sydney Oval. The Warriors also won, notching up their first victory for the tournament by 52 runs over the Tasmanian Tigers.
