Their 183 for three was largely thanks to Khalid Latif, who scored 76 off 53 balls and hit 6 fours and 5 sixes. Ahmed Shehzad was also impressive with his unbeaten 40 off 25 with 5 boundaries. The Vikings skipper Tamim Iqbal rab out the dangerous looking Imrul Kayes with a stunning direct hit on 36. Taskin was the only successful bowler to claim a wicket.

In pursuit, Chittagong lost Dwayne Smith early, but Tamim (30) partnered with Anamul Haque(40) to add 63 off 43 balls for the second wicket as they raced to 90 from 10 overs. Another vital stand of 64 runs between Shoaib Malik (38) and Mohammad Nabi (46 off 24, 5 fours and 2 sixes) got their side home.
