“Virat Kohli and Varon Aaron walked in to our salon (Rumours Hair and Beauty Salon) without any prior appointments and we obliged them with the new look,” Rajiv Kant, the hair stylist said in Colombo. “I was busy with some other client and therefore Virat Kohli was attended by my colleague Naresh Ratnagopal. Aaron was given a new look by Dinesh Haputanthri.

“Our salon is 35-year-old in Colombo and this was the first instance when cricketers from India visited us yesterday,” he continued. “We have given new looks to many artists from India and overseas but no international cricketer has visited us so far…but now we hope many more players pay visit to this salon in future”

Rumours has organised an international hair show on 22nd August in Colombo and many celebrities from India are expected to be present.

“Our boss (Mrs. Rajamahendran) has been in India to invite people for the show. It will indeed be a big event,” he added.

“No, we didn’t ask them to let the Lankan team win in return for their new looks. We want our team to win on merit.”
