Ryan Higgins has signed a new three year contract to play for Middlesex until at least the end of the 2017 English domestic cricket season.
Higgins, 20, made an impressive, unbeaten 44 on his Middlesex debut in 2014 and followed this up with several other encouraging performances. By the end of the season the former England Under 19 international had made 14 List A and T20 appearances for Middlesex.
“Ryan made a really encouraging impression on everybody at Middlesex during his first year full season on our staff,” Angus Fraser, Middlesex’s managing director of cricket said. “When playing for the 1st XI he gave everyone a number of glimpses of what he is capable of producing, he was also outstanding in the 2nd XI. We have high hopes of him developing into a fine cricketer, and this contract reflects that.”
