The Titans and the Dolphins walked away with five points apiece when their Sunfoil Series match at Sahara Park Willowmoore was abandoned without a ball being bowled on Saturday.
No play had been possible on the first two days and, with Benoni continuing to receive rain, it became clear that the outfield would not be able to dry in time for cricket to be played over the weekend.
The lack of a result effectively put paid to the Dolphins’ hopes of adding a second trophy to their cabinet this season - they trail log leaders the Nashua Mobile Cape Cobras by 22 points even before the end of the Cobras’ game against the Chevrolet Knights.
