Brad Hogg happy with his form and pleased to get one over on friend, Mike Hussey

Brad Hogg claimed 2-20 from four overs in Perth Scorchers six-wicket victory over Sydney Thunder on Friday night to take his BBL|03 tally to five wickets and help the Scorchers move into fourth place on the ladder.

???????????????????????????The match saw Hogg’s good friend Mike Hussey return to #TheFurnace.

““It’s one of those things”, Hogg said. “It’s disappointing that Huss left and went the Sydney Thunder but he’s on the opposition and once you cross that white line, it’s very competitive.

“When you do play your mates you don’t like being beaten whether it’s cards, marbles or cricket.”

“They are not planned”, Hogg said of his exuberant wicket celebrations. “When you get a wicket, you’ve got to enjoy it and celebrate success.

“It’s not intentional, I’m an excitable character, I love my cricket and I love getting a wicket.”

“I’m fortunate I’m bowling okay at the moment”, Hogg added. “I’m very happy with the way they are coming out.

“Yasir Arafat, Fonz and Behrendorff are doing their jobs which makes it easier in the middle overs.

“If we get a few early wickets, spinners can dominate in that middle session.”
