West Indies international all-rounder Dwayne Bravo will be contracted to the Renegades squad as a Replacement Overseas Player and will replace English international Jos Buttler.
The Renegades were originally due to contract Mohammad Hafeez as Buttler’s replacement but were unable to do so due to Hafeez being selected in the Pakistan national team and subsequently becoming unavailable.
Bravo struck 106 from 81 balls against New Zealand in ODI on Wednesday, and is expected to be available for the Renegades for matches 7 and 8 following his national duties for the West Indies.
Tonight the Sixers host the Scorchers at the SCG from 7.40pm, followed by a double-header tomorrow.
