The KFC T20 Big Bash League Technical Committee has approved changes to the Melbourne Stars squad. All-rounder, James Faulkner has been passed fit and will resume his place in the Stars squad, while Daniel Worrall has been ruled out due to injury.
James Muirhead will remain in the Stars’ 18-player squad as Worrall’s replacement.
Faulkner has been released from his 12th man duties with the Australian Test team and will train with Stars squad at 3.00pm at the Junction Oval today.

Stars name 13-man squad for Sixers clash
The Melbourne Stars have announced their 13-man squad for their match against the Sydney Sixers at the SCG. The Stars have made two changes to their squad that had an emphatic 76-run win against the Renegades in the opening match of the BBL competition.
In a huge boost, Sri Lanka bowling sensation Lasith Malinga and Australian all-rounder James Faulkner come into the 13. Malinga joins the Stars straight off the back of taking 4/57 in Sri Lanka’s ODI win against Pakistan in Abu Dhabi.
Faulkner, who has been a part of Australia’s Test squad, was released from his 12th man duties yesterday making him available for selection for this match.
Peter Handscomb and Alex Keath have been omitted from the squad to make way for Faulkner and Malinga.
